Job summary

SSP, operating M&S Simply Food at Brighton Station, is recruiting for a Duty Manager on a full-time basis. The role pays £13.75 per hour, plus a night uplift of £1.50, bringing the rate to £15.25 per hour. Shifts include days (5am–midnight) and nights (10pm–7am) with viewing across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

This role requires leadership of a team, a passion for outstanding customer service, and the ability to resolve issues on the fly. 18+ for certain shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in busy hospitality or retail environments.
• Ability to lead teams through day and night shifts.
• Willingness to work across weekdays, weekends, holidays and variable hours.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or over for certain tasks or shifts.

DUTY MANAGER - M&S SIMPLY FOOD, Brighton Station

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn anextra £1.50 per hourfor hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to £15.25 per hour.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time. Shifts varied between days and nights. Day shifts scheduled between 5am - midnight and nights scheduled between 10pm - 7am. Working flexiblyacross weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

• Results focussed, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.
• Previous experience leading a teamin a busy Hospitality or Retail environment is ideal!
