Job summary

SSP is hiring a Duty Manager for M&S Simply Food at Victoria East station. The role pays £13.61 per hour with an additional £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing the rate to £15.11 per hour.

This full-time position (30+ hours per week) requires flexibility across weekdays, weekends, and holidays. You will lead a team in a fast-paced retail environment, manage opening/closing tasks, and provide outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older for certain shifts.
• Experience leading a team in hospitality or retail is ideal.

DUTY MANAGER - M&S SIMPLY FOOD, Victoria East station

• Due to some responsibilities within the Nightshift Duty Managerrole, applicants willneed to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

ABOUT THE DUTY MANAGER ROLE:

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations while solving problems on the fly.
• Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive.
• Inspire your team to deliver great customer service, be the go-to person for customer and team queries.
• Results focussed, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.
• Previous experience leading a teamin a busy Hospitality or Retail environment is ideal!
