Job summary

SSP is hiring a Duty Manager for M&S Simply Food at Stansted Airport. You will oversee opening, closing and daily operations, and lead busy shifts from 4:30am to 00:30, with 40-hour full-time contracts.

The role rewards action, leadership and great customer service across a fast-paced environment. Pay starts at £14.25 per hour with an extra £1.50 for hours between midnight and 6am, bringing potential pay to £15.75 per hour.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations while solving problems on the fly.
• Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping energy high and atmosphere positive.
• Inspire the team to deliver excellent customer service and be the go-to person for queries.
• Monitor unit performance and champion continuous improvements.
• Previous experience leading a team in a busy hospitality or retail setting is ideal.

About the Role

DUTY MANAGER - M&S SIMPLY FOOD, Stansted Airport

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn anextra £1.50 per hourfor hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to £15.75 per hour.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time (40 hrs). Shifts between 4:30am - 00:30(half past midnight).Working flexiblyacross weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.
