Job summary

SSP, in partnership with M&S Simply Food at Brighton Station, is seeking a Duty Manager to lead day and night shifts, open and close operations, and ensure outstanding customer service across busy periods.

You will manage a team, drive performance, handle high-pressure situations, and be the go-to person for customers and staff queries. This role requires leadership experience in hospitality or retail and compliance with age requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading a team in a busy Hospitality or Retail environment is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations while solving problems on the fly.
• Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive.
• Inspire your team to deliver great customer service, be the go-to person for customer and team queries.

DUTY MANAGER - M&S SIMPLY FOOD, Brighton Station

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.50 per hourfor hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to £15.25 per hour.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time. Shifts varied between days and nights. Day shifts scheduled between 5am - midnight and nights scheduled between 10pm - 7am. Working flexiblyacross weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.
