Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Duty Manager for the Cannock Fitness & Wellbeing Club. This part-time role involves ensuring smooth club operations, engaging with members to boost satisfaction, and supporting staff to maintain high standards.

Applicants should have proven sales experience and excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset and a willing attitude toward training on site as Lifeguard duties may arise.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and hospitality or gym environments preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the smooth running of the club during your shift, including opening and closing.
• Prioritize member satisfaction and engage with members to build relationships.
• Lead by example and support colleagues while upholding quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members highlighting benefits of the club.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Help achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue goals.
• Swim to a high standard and be willing to train on site for Lifeguard breaks.

Cannock FWC | Fitness & Wellbeing Club | Permanent contract | Part time
Up to £29,370.12 pro rata depending on experience plus sales commission
24 hours per week

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift
• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.
• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides

• Help achieve sales targets
• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
