Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Duty Manager for the Cottingley Manor Fitness & Wellbeing Gym. The role focuses on running the club smoothly, delivering excellent member service, and driving sales while maintaining high standards.

You will lead by example, engage with members, and ensure health and safety while supporting your team. The position is part-time, with a pro-rata salary of £28,038.40 and 32 hours per week.

• Demonstrable sales experience and ability to engage members.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the smooth running of the club, including opening and closing on shift.
• Prioritize member satisfaction and engage with members to build relationships.
• Lead by example, support colleagues and uphold high quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting benefits of Nuffield Health.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Help achieve sales targets.
• Be able to swim to a high standard and train on-site for Lifeguard breaks.

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift

• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides

• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
