Job summary

Nuffield Health Guiseley Fitness & Wellbeing Club is seeking a Duty Manager. This part-time role covers 24 hours per week, including lates and weekends, with a pro rata salary up to £28,037.08 depending on experience.

The Duty Manager will ensure smooth club operations, lead a service-driven team and promote member satisfaction. You’ll engage with members, conduct tours for prospective members, and help hit sales targets while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable sales experience and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to engage with members and build relationships.
• Flexible availability for 24 hours per week, including shifts.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the club during shifts to ensure smooth operation.
• Prioritise member satisfaction and actively engage with members to foster loyalty.
• Lead by example and support colleagues while upholding high standards of service.
• Conduct tours for prospective members highlighting club benefits.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues promptly.
• Assist in achieving sales targets.
• Be able to swim to a high standard and undergo lifeguard training as needed.

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift


• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.


• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.


• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides


• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.


• Help achieve sales targets


• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
