Job description

Help us make a big green dent in the universe. We're on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution and need your help to turn our vision into a reality.

We're looking for smart meter engineers with a track record of safety and customer excellence. You'll be representing our brands in our customers' homes, so you'll need to be comfortable talking to customers and getting to know them as well as installing meters.

Your responsibilities will include fitting meters, demonstrating how the meters and in-home displays work, explaining how they can help save energy, and answering any questions about our green energy initiatives.

As part of the Octopus Energy Services team, you'll be supported by a dedicated office team sharing the same performance goals, working as one. You'll also benefit from Octopus Energy's technological resources, enabling us to improve processes and focus more on delivering excellent service.

What you'll need:

• MOCoPA - held within the last 3 years with evidence
• Gas Safe - CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

Call-out and Overtime:

• Rotating call-out schedule once every five weeks (Monday to Sunday), with a £250 retainer. Paid from door to door when called out.
• Saturday working:
• £50 for attendance
• £70 for dual fuel installation
• £35 for single fuel installation
