DSP Engineer | Huntingdon

I'm currently supporting a long-standing client in their search for a DSP Engineer to join their growing R&D team, based on-site in Huntingdon. This is a permanent DSP Engineer job offering the opportunity to work at the forefront of high-performance audio technology, contributing to both existing platforms and future product innovations.

The role sits within a multidisciplinary team responsible for the design, development, and optimisation of advanced digital signal processing systems for world‑class audio products. It's an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on DSP specialist who enjoys both coding and problem‑solving in a collaborative and technically rich environment.

Key Responsibilities for the DSP Engineer job
  • Maintain and develop robust DSP codebases for audio products across current and future platforms.
  • Design and prototype signal processing algorithms in MATLAB and/or Python, before implementing in C/C++.
  • Work closely with research and acoustics teams to translate theoretical designs into high-performance solutions.
  • Provide technical support and documentation for B2B partners and integration projects.
  • Contribute to product architecture, feature estimation, and cross‑functional design discussions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support ongoing development of internal processes and platforms.
