Driver / Despatcher - Denham

Salary: £30,000-£35,000

We're seeking an experienced Driver / Despatcher to join a busy transport team at a Denham-based site. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering and collecting goods across the UK, ensuring accurate paperwork and safe handling at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload goods safely, checking quantities and documentation.
  • Consolidate deliveries and collections within the warehouse.
  • Transport goods to customers, suppliers, and other company sites across the UK.
  • Maintain warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and functionality.
  • Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks (e.g., topping up fluids, replacing bulbs).
Requirements
  • Aged 23 or over for insurance purposes.
  • Clean Class 2 / Category C driver's license with experience driving, loading, and unloading.
  • ADR certification for high consequence goods (Classes 1-9).
  • Counterbalance forklift experience.
  • Experience in logistics or warehouse operations; manufacturing experience desirable.
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to lift, carry, and handle boxes safely.
