A leading healthcare institution in Chichester is seeking a Domestic Assistant for night shifts (10pm - 6am, Saturday to Sunday). Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in clinical wards, following health and safety protocols. Candidates should possess good communication skills and experience in front line services, particularly in healthcare environments. This role requires the ability to understand and convey sensitive information with tact. There is no visa sponsorship available, thus applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Maintaining cleanliness within St Richards Hospital
The Domestics Department are looking to recruit Domestic Assistants to join their team.
The post holder will be responsible for cleaning clinical wards and departments.
Working hours :
10pm - 6am, Saturday to Sunday (15 hrs)
Work as a team member with a flexible approach within the Facilities Department. Provide a comprehensive service to the hospital, undertaking all cleaning while adhering to health and safety and ensuring all areas of allocated cleaning are kept to a high standard, and any other duties deemed within the grading of the post.

Cleaning clinical departments to National Cleaning Standards 2021, training will be provided.
Maintain confidentiality of information about patients, staff and other health service business in accordance with Trust Policy.
To aid hospital staff, visitors and patients, following Trust policies and procedures.
Guide and direct visitors and deal with them in a helpful and friendly manner.
Ability to communicate sensitive information using tact and diplomacy when dealing with deceased family and friends.
Actively participate in any departmental information technology initiative.
