A respected domestic abuse charity in Hampshire is seeking a Domestic Abuse Outreach Project Worker to provide outreach support to children, young people, and adults affected by domestic abuse. This permanent full-time role involves direct support and advocacy, safety planning, and collaboration with various partners. About the Role
Location : Hampshire
Hours : 37 hours per week (Monday–Thursday 9:30am–5:30pm, Friday 9:30am–5pm)
Contract : Permanent, Full Time
On-call : Yes (rota-based)
Belmont Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected domestic abuse charity to recruit a Domestic Abuse Outreach Project Worker to support children, young people and adults affected by domestic abuse, both in the community and within refuge settings.
This is a trauma-informed outreach role focused on safeguarding, emotional recovery and breaking cycles of abuse. You will work directly with children, young people and their non-abusive parents, providing practical support, advocacy and safety planning, while working closely with statutory and voluntary partners.
You will have experience supporting children, young people and adults who are vulnerable or at risk, ideally within domestic abuse, safeguarding or family support services. You will be confident working independently, managing a caseload and building trusting relationships with families and professionals.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
