Qualifications

  • GCSEs / A-Levels; additional qualifications in administration or document control are a plus.
  • Previous experience in document control within construction, engineering, or similar industries.
  • Proficient in document management systems (Aconex, SharePoint, Asite) and MS Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.
  • Strong ability to liaise with teams and troubleshoot document issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project documentation — organising, storing, and distributing documents efficiently.
  • Administer the Document Management System — setting up workflows, managing access, and ensuring data security.
  • Ensure compliance — maintaining records to meet company, client, and regulatory standards.
  • Support the project team — assisting with document formatting, templates, and best practices.
  • Monitor version control — ensuring everyone works from the latest, most accurate documents.

As our Document Controller , you will :

Manage project documentation — organising, storing, and distributing documents efficiently.

Administer the Document Management System (DMS) —setting up workflows, managing access, and ensuring data security.

Ensure compliance —maintaining records to meet company, client, and regulatory standards.

Support the project team —assisting with document formatting, templates, and best practices.

Monitor version control —ensuring everyone works from the latest, most accurate documents.

Enhance processes —identifying ways to improve efficiency and implement best practices.
