Job Title: Document Controller

Location: Corsham - Hybrid Working Model

Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

Rate: £20 per hour

Clearance: Must hold SC Clearance

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support a critical programme within the Space and Mission Systems domain. This role ensures the integrity, security, and efficient management of project documentation and data across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain day‑to‑day data integrity and document management in line with company policy and security standards.
  • Deliver the Information and Data Management strategy across document management tools.
  • Ensure configuration control and efficient handling of project data and documentation.
  • Manage system access using a need‑to‑know security approach.
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Administer access forms, update system permissions, and manage onboarding/offboarding of users.
  • Migrate documentation from legacy systems (e.g., P‑drive, SharePoint) into controlled environments such as Vault.
  • Track and manage interface documentation and workflows.
  • Monitor and process CDRLs and ensure timely responses within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain configuration control for documents entering and leaving controlled systems.
  • Support exit data management and administrative tasks as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in data and document management, including configuration and change control.
  • Understanding of system administration and access control principles.
  • Hands‑on experience with document management systems such as Autodesk Vault, Windchill, or TeamCentre.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to promote high performance and continuous improvement
