Job summary

Coyles is seeking a Document Controller for a 3-month contract in Scotland. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining the project document control system (SharePoint, Viewpoint, 4P) and ensuring correct issue and tracking of drawings, specifications and correspondence.

You will log, distribute, and archive documents, manage transmittals with clients and subcontractors, and support handover and close-out records.

Qualifications

• Experience with document control in engineering projects.
• Knowledge of document control processes and procedures.
• Ability to manage and track drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submissions.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and manage the project document control system (SharePoint, Viewpoint, 4P).
• Receive, log, register, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
• Control numbering, revision status, and version control per project procedures.
