You will manage the District Nursing Team's daily activities, ensuring high standards of care. We are excited to offer opportunities to experienced District Nurses who hold a Specialist Practitioner Qualification to join our forward-thinking team, with the prospect of being based within a locality team whilst also having the chance to experience our whole service offer, particularly during a supernumerary phase.
The post holder will have responsibility for management of the routine activities of the District Nursing Team, organising workload and staff rotas. Exercising leadership and judgement to ensure good clinical practices and high standards of care are maintained in order to meet service demand. You will be working within an integrated neighbourhood and be involved with the current changes and developments within the organisation.
Assess and develop students and junior staff to reach their potential by designing learning programmes and acting as a Mentor.
