Job summary

Blatchford is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator for our busy stores team at the Basingstoke facility. You will ensure orders are prepared, documented and dispatched on time, with accuracy in picking, packing and paperwork.

Ideal candidates have warehouse/dispatch experience, logistics knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office. A proactive, customer-focused approach and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) is required.
• Previous warehouse/dispatch experience is essential.
• Experience in logistics and distribution operations is desirable.
• Proficiency with warehouse ERP systems.
• Competency with MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
• Customer focused approach is valued.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate pick lists from approved customer orders.
• Pick, pack and label goods correctly with product codes and batch/serial details.
• Prepare dispatch documentation and paperwork for shipments.
• Book collections and deliveries with approved freight carriers.
• Track consignments and communicate delays or exceptions promptly.
• Carry out final dispatch checks before goods leave the site.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
