A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is recruiting a Despatch Clerk for the Talbot Green Warehouse in South Wales. The role involves coordinating orders, releasing to planned routes, and providing essential administrative support in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will work closely with warehouse teams, drivers and management, using MS Office, and play a key part in ensuring accurate processing and on-time dispatch across alternating Sunday-Friday weeks.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate orders and despatch operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for administration.
• Strong organisational and team-working skills.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and releasing of customer orders to planned routes
• Administration of customer orders, replenishment and despatch operations
• Liaison with operations management and other departments regarding general queries and provision of information
• Administration, collation and distribution of driver information
• Running and distribution of general reports
• Allocation of work areas to warehouse staff
• Replenishment of warehouse stationary consumables
