Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is recruiting a Despatch Clerk for the Talbot Green Warehouse in South Wales. You will help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Working with warehouse teams, drivers and management, you will schedule orders, administer despatch activities, liaise on queries and prepare driver information and reports. The role is permanent, 30 hours per week, Sunday to Friday on alternating weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience in despatch/dispatch administration is desirable.
• Ability to manage orders and route planning in a busy warehouse environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and releasing of customer orders to planned routes
• Administration of customer orders, replenishment and despatch operations
• Liaison with operations management and other departments regarding queries and information
• Administration, collation and distribution of driver information
• Running and distribution of general reports
• Allocation of work areas to warehouse staff
• Replenishment of warehouse stationary consumables
