Interim Quality Director (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Worcester

We are looking for an Interim Quality Director to join our key client in Worcester to cover the Quality department on a 12-month FTC basis who can start immediately.

This role would suit someone who has ideally has experience leading a Quality department in a fast paced manufacturing environment for a product based manufacturing company covering global manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Quality Director will be overseeing the Quality department and ensuring company and product reputation in standards is adhered to.
• Deliver high quality products whilst building impeccable relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Liaise with both customers and suppliers to ensure overall quality satisfaction and deal with any high level Quality issues and processes
• Experience adhering to ISO standards as well as 8D, PPAP and FMEA essential
• Travel to manufacturing sites when necessary to ensure Quality issues are dealt with at the highest level

Key Attributes:

• This role would suite a Quality Director, Head of Quality, Senior Quality Manager with at least 8 to 10 years’ experience managing a large Quality team
• Ideally experience working in a fast paced or regulated environment such as Automotive, Medical Device Products, Consumer Electronics, Consumer based products etc.
• Ability to wear multiple hats, liaise confidently with multiple teams and work well under pressure in a busy environment
• Willingness to commit to a 12 Month FTC and ability to travel globally when necessary
