A leading educational organization in England is seeking a Director of People to develop and implement a comprehensive People Strategy. This position involves leading on HR compliance, workforce planning, and fostering a high-performance culture across multiple schools. The ideal candidate will possess a CIPD Level 7 qualification, significant HR leadership experience, and a strong understanding of employment law. 37 hours per week. Permanent. Full time.
Salary Range: £70,000 – £75,000
Job Location: Trust Offices / Hybrid
Start date: April 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter)
This is a strategic and hands‑on leadership role, responsible for developing and delivering a Trust‑wide People Strategy that supports recruitment, retention, development, and wellbeing.
You will lead on workforce planning, organisational development, and HR compliance, while also building the infrastructure and team needed to support a growing multi‑academy trust.
You will be a visible and influential leader, championing a positive and high‑performance culture across all schools. Your work will directly impact the experience of every colleague in the Trust, from new starters to senior leaders.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR leader who shares our values and ambition.
Experience in a Multi‑Academy Trust or education setting is desirable but not essential.
