A leading healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Director of Nursing/Deputy Chief Nursing Officer for a six-month secondment. We are seeking an outstanding Director of Nursing/Deputy Chief Nursing Officer to join our senior leadership team on a six-month secondment. This is a rare opportunity for an inspirational senior nurse leader to influence nursing practice, quality and workforce innovation across our organisation and Integrated Care System.
Working closely with and deputising for the Chief Nursing & Allied Health Officer, you will provide visible professional leadership across nursing, driving high standards of care, patient safety and experience. You will lead key portfolios including clinical governance, safeguarding, infection prevention and control, workforce, and professional standards, and play a central role in our CQC relationship and system partnerships.

While this post is advertised at Band 9, we would also welcome applications from experienced senior nurse leaders currently operating at Band 8d who are seeking a development opportunity. In these circumstances, appointment would be made at the appropriate band, aligned to experience and the level of responsibility undertaken.
As stated this can be a secondment or a fixed term post, we are looking for someone who can join us immediately. Informal discussions are welcomed.
