A luxury resort in Scotland is seeking an experienced financial leader to join their management team. You will oversee financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the hospitality sector and excellent communication skills to liaise with the Owners and Executive Committee. This role includes management of a finance team and is vital for driving profitability and ensuring financial governance throughout the resort.
The diversity of the product offering encompasses a Luxury hotel, with 204 rooms within the main Hotel and Villa accommodation, 11 meeting rooms, 3 golf courses, The Spa at Turnberry, Stables and Turnberry Adventures across the grounds of the 827-acre resort. The property is owned and managed by The Trump Organisation.
Reporting to the General Manager, and acting as a member of the resort leadership team (Executive Committee), the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall financial leadership, control and commercial performance of the resort, leading the effective and efficient use of financial resources. You will plan, direct and manage the provision of accurate, timely and objective financial data from which informed management decisions can be made as well as recommending remedial action when and where necessary. You will partner with operational leaders to drive profitability across all revenue streams whilst ensuring robust financial governances, compliance and cash management. You will be responsible for leading the Finance team, ensuring the department is professional, service-oriented and highly skilled. You will actively participate in all resort leadership/management activities as a member of the Executive Committee (ExCom). This is an on-property role.
