About the Role:

As Director, Global Medical Affairs at Theramex, you will be a critical member of the Global Medical Affairs team and set the Medical Affairs strategic direction and lead the development and implementation of best‑in‑class Medical Affairs plans across our Women’s Health Uerine Health portfolio. You’ll shape the evidence generation strategy, steward product launches and lifecycle excellence, and elevate our thought leadership through evidence‑based engagement with medical experts and medical education.

Collaborating cross‑functionally with Medical Information, Pharmacovigilance, Marketing, Value and Access, Business Development, and other functions you will ensure our medical science is credible, compliant, and impactful—advancing our mission to improve the lives of women globally.

About you:
  • Qualified medical professional (Degree in Human Medicine) with proven Medical Affairs knowledge and expertise (ideally in women’s health or related) as well as leadership experience, ideally at international scale.
  • Solid experience in healthcare professionals engagement, with outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Highest ethical standards with command of compliance and international health authorities’ requirements.
  • Final ABPI signatory status.
  • Strategic, pragmatic and agile operator who thrives in fast‑paced, complex environments and delivers measurable outcomes.
  • Passionate about women’s health and driven to make a tangible impact through science and education.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Own and develop the global medical strategy for a portfolio of pharmaceutical products within the therapeutic area.
    • Design and implement Medical Operating Plans in close collaboration with brand/product directors and other cross‑functional teams.
  • Evidence Generation Strategy and Oversight:
    • Plan and supervise evidence generation projects (e.g. real‑world evidence).
    • Review and approve investigator‑initiated studies.
  • Evidence Dissemination Strategy and Oversight:
    • Lead scientific publications, presentations, and dissemination of medical‑scientific data internally and externally.
  • External Engagement:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with global key medical experts, healthcare providers, academic institutions, government agencies, medical‑scientific professional societies and advocacy groups.
    • Create and implement key medical‑scientific experts and patient advocacy groups engagement plans.
    • Lead advisory boards and other strategic scientific forums.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration:
    • Act as a senior medical‑scientific consultant to internal stakeholders, including commercial brand teams, regulatory affairs, market access, business development, and others.
    • Facilitate alignment across functions to ensure medical‑scientific integrity.Work closely with the Marketing Team to organise medical‑scientific meetings such as symposia and other medical‑scientific educational programmes.
    • Support the wider Medical Affairs team as appropriate, including Medical Information and Pharmacovigilance.
    • Develop medical‑scientific materials related to Theramex’ products and deliver training to sales force and other staff.
    • Respond to individual queries from HCPs and the KAM Team.
  • Medical Governance and Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure compliance with ABPI, EFPIA and other applicable codes and regulatory guidelines.
    • Provide efficient and effective Industry Code compliant medical approval of promotional and non‑promotional materials.
    • Maintain up‑to‑date medical‑scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area of ‘Uterine Health’. E.g. by regularly reviewing medical‑scientific publications relating to the therapeutic area and by attending medical‑scientific meetings (such as conferences and symposia).
    • Ensure vendors are qualified throughout their involvement in Theramex activities.
