Job Summary

The Director, Enterprise Solutions is a senior consulting and solution strategy leader who partners with prospective and existing customers to shape the future of procurement. This role sits at the intersection of procurement transformation, digital strategy, process orchestration, and enterprise technology .

Drawing on deep, hands‑on experience across procurement disciplines—such as procurement strategy, transformation, category management, sourcing, contracting, and procurement operations—you will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders. You will help organizations design modern procurement operating models centered on orchestration, automation, and intelligent workflows, while positioning ORO as a foundational platform in their broader source‑to‑pay ecosystem.

This is a highly visible, high‑impact role with significant autonomy and influence across sales, product, and customer success. You will work on the bleeding edge of procurement technology, AI, and automation, helping some of the world’s most prestigious organizations rethink procurement for the next decade.

What You’ll Do
Enterprise Solution Leadership
  • Serve as the senior solution strategist across complex enterprise sales cycles, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Lead executive‑level discovery sessions to understand procurement strategies, operating models, pain points, and transformation objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CPOs, CIOs, CFOs, and senior procurement and operations leaders.
Procurement Transformation & Orchestration
  • Design target‑state procurement operating models centered on process orchestration, automation, and intelligent workflows.
  • Translate fragmented, manual procurement processes into orchestrated, automated experiences that span systems, teams, and data.
  • Advise customers on how to modernize intake, approvals, sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, and P2P processes using ORO.
Digital, AI & Technology Strategy
  • Evaluate and advise on customers’ broader procurement and source‑to‑pay technology landscapes, including ERP, P2P, CLM, sourcing, supplier management, and risk tools.
  • Guide customers on modern digital architectures that balance best‑of‑breed solutions, S2P suites, and emerging AI‑enabled capabilities.
  • Bring a practical, forward‑looking perspective on AI in procurement, including LLMs, agents, workflow intelligence, and automation.
Value Realization & Execution
  • Build compelling business cases that clearly articulate ROI, efficiency gains, risk reduction, and strategic value.
  • Develop and lead tailored proof‑of‑concept (POC) engagements that showcase ORO’s differentiated value.
  • Partner with implementation and customer teams to translate strategy into actionable, scalable deployment plans.
Thought Leadership & Capability Building
  • Contribute to the development of solution frameworks, methodologies, and repeatable playbooks that strengthen ORO’s go‑to‑market approach.
  • Act as a thought leader in procurement orchestration, automation, and AI‑enabled enterprise workflows—internally and externally.
What We’re Looking For
Procurement & Transformation Expertise
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement leadership, procurement consulting, enterprise solution architecture, or SaaS implementation leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple procurement disciplines, such as:
  • Procurement transformation – leading or advising multi‑year procurement transformation programs spanning process redesign, technology modernization, and operating model change.
  • Procurement strategy and operating model design – Designing target‑state procurement operating models (centralized, decentralized, or hybrid structures) and, digital garages / centers or excellence.
  • Category management, strategic sourcing and contracting – Implementing category management frameworks and leading category strategy development across direct and indirect spend categories.
  • Procurement operations, P2P, and supplier onboarding – improving end‑to‑end procurement operations and processes, from intake and requisitioning through onboarding and invoicing.
  • Global Process or Product Owner – global process owner or product owner for one or more end‑to‑end procurement processes (e.g., intake to order, source to contract, etc.), with accountability for design, adoption, and continuous improvement. Leading process optimization initiatives to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve user experience.
  • Third‑party and supply chain risk management – Designing or advising on third‑party risk management (TPRM) frameworks covering financial, operational, compliance, and ESG risks, and integrating into procurement, sourcing, and onboarding workflows.
  • Strong credibility engaging senior procurement and business executives.
Digital & Technology Mindset
  • Deep understanding of modern procurement technology ecosystems, including best‑of‑breed solutions (e.g., Archlet, Fairmarkit, Globality, Ivoflow, Keelvar, Nnamu, Pactum, Sievo, etc.), S2P suites (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Oracle, Workday, etc.), and ERP platforms.
  • Strong digital mindset with exposure to AI‑enabled tools and concepts (e.g., LLMs, agents, automation, workflow intelligence).
  • Rounded technical understanding of enterprise platform and data architectures, including system integration patterns, APIs, event‑driven workflows, master data concepts, security considerations, and how data flows across procurement, finance, and operational systems to enable orchestration and automation.
