Role Mission

You will join a passionate team to support the successful delivery of projects that drive organisational growth and innovation. As a Level 6 Project Manager Apprentice, you will learn to plan, coordinate, and manage resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. Through the duration of your programme you will grow professionally and personally, enabling you to be empowered to bring fresh ideas, apply structured methodologies, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve impactful outcomes. Through curiosity and commitment, you will play a key role in turning strategic objectives into real‑world results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Project Team always operates at the highest standards of Health and Safety.
  • Drive project business growth and profitability.
  • Deliver customer satisfaction and project excellence to our end‑user base and throughout the contractual chain (M&E’s, consultants, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with our quality process and drive continuous improvements.
  • Help manage resource planning and efficiency to maximise utilisation.
  • Embed efficiency and best practices in project delivery process and culture to raise competitiveness and profitability of the business.
Training

During your apprenticeship, you will receive two different types of training:

  • On‑the‑job training delivered by Schneider Electric, including skills and knowledge beyond the apprenticeship but needed for the role.
  • Off‑the‑job training delivered by selected Training Providers during normal working hours – at least 20% of your working hours (average 6 hours per week).

  • Mentoring or regular one‑to‑one guidance.
  • Social enrichment and networking opportunities.
  • Performance reviews.
  • Mental health and wellbeing support.
  • Feedback opportunities.
Work Pattern

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Exact start and finish times will be agreed with the Line Manager. Some hours will be allocated to off‑the‑job training.

Skills and Attributes
Essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities effectively.
  • Clear and confident communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Capability to identify issues and develop practical solutions quickly.
  • Commitment to accuracy and quality in planning, documentation, and delivery.

  • Comfortable with change and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Education

Minimum: 5 GCSE’s including Math’s, English, and a STEM Subject grade C/4 or above or equivalent. A Levels BBC 112 UCAS Points (must include Math’s) or BTEC DDM Extended Diploma with math’s unit or T levels with core areas of specialisations consistent with engineering contents.

Previous Experience Required

No pre‑requisite experience required.

Driving Licence Required

A full UK Driving Licence is essential. Applications from those in the process of obtaining one (currently completing driving lessons) are accepted. If the role requires travel, a vehicle will be provided by Schneider Electric.
