Overview
  • Position: Temporary Digital Content Officer - Belfast
  • Client: Arts Council of Northern Ireland (ACNI)
  • Location: Belfast
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
  • Rate of Pay: £17.43 per hour
  • Duration: Temporary ongoing
  • Start Date: ASAP
Key Objectives
  • Create, promote, and publish digital content across ACNI's platforms.
  • Administer and edit the ACNI website using the CRAFT content management system.
  • Manage all social media content and approval processes.
  • Grow and engage online audiences for the arts and ACNI.
Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain a digital content calendar and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Plan and deliver digital marketing content aligned with ACNI's mission.
  • Lead website updates and ensure editorial quality.
  • Write compelling online copy and social media content.
  • Promote ACNI research and sector news through reports and infographics.
  • Occasionally produce and edit video/audio content.
  • Develop email marketing campaigns and manage online advertising budgets.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Arts Development teams.
Essential Criteria
  • Education: Degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role within the last 4 years.
  • Website Content Management:
    • Experience with CMS platforms and digital content workflows.
    • Skilled in managing content across digital platforms and social media.
    • Strong IT skills including Microsoft systems and analytics tools.
    • Understanding of GDPR and accessibility regulations.
  • Digital Content Creation:
    • Experience with video production and editing tools (e.g., Canva, Premiere Pro, Final Cut).
    • Proven copywriting and photography skills.
    • Ability to learn new technical skills and train others.
  • Mobility: Willing to travel within and outside Northern Ireland. Must have access to transport.
