Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver outstanding service, educate customers on our digital platforms, and promote financial inclusion. You will be the first point of contact in branch, handling enquiries with warmth and efficiency.

The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 and Saturday 09:30-13:30. Starting salary £27,200 plus a discretionary annual bonus, with holiday, pension, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is helpful but not essential.
• Strong communication and empathy when dealing with customers.
• Ability to adapt in a changing environment and learn digital services.

Responsibilities

• Be first point of contact for customers and deliver an exceptional experience.
• Educate customers about HSBC digital services and fraud awareness.
• Identify vulnerable customers and determine how we can support them.
• Assist customers with complex banking needs to ensure they feel supported.
