Job summary

A global investment management firm in Greater London is seeking to hire a Risk Manager to oversee digital assets and event-driven strategies. The candidate will be responsible for producing risk reports, analytics, and ensuring trading positions are accurate. Applicants should have 5-10 years of relevant experience, strong coding skills in Python, and a degree in a science discipline. Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in a relevant role, minimum 4 years in digital assets risk management.
  • Coding skills in at least one leading programming language, preferably Python.
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Produce risk reports and analytics, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Reconcile data and ensure accuracy in pricing and stress testing against trades.
  • Develop a risk management framework with accurate risk metrics.
  • Manage onboarding and due diligence for new counterparties.
  • Conduct daily checks on running processes, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Interact with trading teams, risk teams, and operations.
