A leading NHS teaching trust in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced radiographer to join their team. This role supports a wide range of imaging modalities including CT, MRI, and Nuclear medicine. The successful candidate will rotate through various specialties and may work at different sites. The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in an environment focused on professional development and quality patient care.
We are seeking radiographers with sound radiographic experience, who will contribute positively and enthusiastically to the professional running and future development of the department. The post is suitable for a radiographer keen to experience a wide range of modalities and to support and develop the 7-day service whilst working with state-of-the-art equipment and optimising image techniques across clinical and research fields.
The role will be based primarily at Churchill Hospital but may involve temporary work across other OUH sites including the John Radcliffe Hospital and community hospital sites.
The department includes two 64‑slice and one 256‑slice GE CT scanners, a 1.5T and 3T GE MRI scanners, two flat‑plate interventional rooms, two PET/CT scanners, two Gamma cameras (including SPECT‑CT), four ultrasound rooms, a lithotripsy unit and five DR GE Definium HD rooms.
