Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is an Integrated Care Organisation where Hospital and Community services are managed as one.

This contributes substantially to improving our patients care locally with the intention to have less reliance on acute bed-based care and to provide services closer to patients' homes. The Trust serves a population of 260,000 with a catchment area covering Torbay and South Dartmoor. The population increases by approximately 100,000 in the summer as a result of tourism. Torbay Hospital is ideally situated in the town of Torquay, famed for its sandy beaches and water sports. For those who prefer dry land, Dartmoor is close by and can be viewed from the staff room window! The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are located approximately 18 and 35 miles away.
