A local government authority in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Development & Construction Project Manager. This role involves managing and delivering construction projects for the Council, ensuring they meet standards and budget constraints. We have an excellent opportunity available for a dynamic and experienced Development & Construction Project Manager to join our Commercial Property Team here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a full time, permanent basis.
As the Development & Construction Project Manager, you will lead and manage the delivery of both WBC service and commercial development opportunities from masterplanning and viability to implementation and delivery. This will include utilising expert project management skills to work with multi‑discipline teams, Council wide departments and external stakeholders, ensuring the Council's construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
This role requires a proactive individual with excellent project management skills and a strong understanding and experience of Commercial and Residential construction projects.
