Gi Group in Ware, England is seeking a proactive Despatch Co-Ordinator to manage daily despatch operations, ensuring goods are picked, packed and shipped accurately and on time. This role sits in a fast-paced warehouse environment, requiring coordination with customers, carriers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have proven inbound/despatch experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, be physically capable, and show strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities

Qualifications

• Proven inbound/despatch experience in a warehouse/logistics setting.
• Physically capable role including lifting heavier items safely.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily despatch activity to meet delivery deadlines.
• Prepare and process despatch paperwork and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Liaise with customers, carriers and internal teams to confirm delivery requirements.
• Verify outgoing shipments against orders and documentation.
• Ensure items are correctly labelled, packed and meet quality standards.
• Support stock control and allocate stock for despatch.
• Provide updates on ETAs and delays to stakeholders.
