Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable IT Technician to provide desktop end-user support across Windows, macOS, and Linux. You will install, upgrade, and maintain software, set up new workstations, manage user accounts, and assist with onboarding and offboarding in a fast-paced environment.

You will respond to incidents via ticketing systems, troubleshoot hardware and network issues, support remote access, and collaborate with IT teams while following security and data protection policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or IT.
• 1+ year of desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technician experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Zendesk or JIRA for ticketing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone or in-person.
• Install, upgrade and maintain operating systems and software applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and peripheral issues.
• Set up and configure new employee workstations, including accounts and permissions.
• Maintain asset inventory and documentation of IT equipment.
• Support onboarding/offboarding from a technical perspective.
• Assist remote users with VPN, remote desktop and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams on escalated issues or project tasks.
• Follow security protocols and assist with antivirus, patching and data protection.
