A leading construction company is seeking a Design Manager in Leeds to manage and coordinate the design process for various projects. This role involves working closely with project teams and ensuring compliance with design outputs and regulations. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant field and 5-7 years of design coordination experience, with strong knowledge of industry standards and construction processes. The Design Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the design process on allocated projects or packages, ensuring that design outputs are compliant, deliverable and aligned with client requirements, statutory regulations and contractual obligations. The role works closely with Senior Design Managers, project teams, consultants and the wider supply chain to deliver coordinated, buildable and cost-effective design solutions. The Design Manager plays a central role in ensuring design integration, supporting risk management and driving value through technical solutions.
