Our client, partnering with a Strategic Delivery Partner on the Southern Water AMP8 Infrastructure Framework, is currently seeking a Civils Design Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role is vital for delivering major water infrastructure projects across the Southern Water region.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading the design delivery of critical infrastructure schemes from concept through to delivery
2. Managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met
3. Ensuring compliance with technical standards, budget, and programme requirements
4. Overseeing the production of design documentation
5. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
6. Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
7. Providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
8. Ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications

Job Requirements:

• Experience in civil engineering, specifically within the water sector
• Strong knowledge of civil design principles and relevant software proficiency
• Managing multidisciplinary teams
