The role

What you'll be doing

• Supporting the design and development of automated machinery, equipment, and component parts
• Redesigning existing equipment to improve functionality, reliability, and longevity
• Developing proposals and solutions to optimize production output quality
• Supporting the drafting of Technical Manuals in line with company standards
• Ordering equipment, parts, and materials in a cost-effective and responsible manner
• Maintaining quality standards, including ISO9001 and ISO14001
• Ensuring all project work is undertaken safely, responsibly, and on time, keeping stakeholders informed

What you'll need

• A minimum of an HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency with Autodesk (essential)
• Experience within a manufacturing background (FMCG or similar is highly desirable)
