Brownlee Cale are recruiting on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering contractor in North Wales who are looking to recruit a Design Coordinator to join their in‑house design team.

You’ll play a key role in managing the design process across civil engineering projects including water infrastructure upgrades, local authority, and highways works.

The Role

• Coordinate designs from internal teams and external consultants
• Oversee design interfaces, ensuring all technical information is accurate and compliant
• Provide design input through tender and construction phases
• Liaise with clients, designers, and site teams to resolve design issues and drive solutions
• Support project delivery from concept through to completion

About You

• Experience as a Design Coordinator within civil engineering or construction projects
• Strong understanding of water infrastructure and general civil projects
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Applications welcome from both consultancy and contractor backgrounds
