Design & Technology Teacher – Full-Time – January 2026 Start

Location: Rochdale

Are you a qualified teacher looking for a full-time Design & Technology role starting in September—or potentially earlier? We are currently seeking passionate DT teachers for a position in a high-performing secondary school in Rochdale. This school is Ofsted-rated ‘Good’, with excellent facilities and a supportive, forward-thinking department.

If you're a creative, hands‑on educator eager to inspire the next generation of designers, makers, and problem‑solvers, this opportunity is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, practical, and inspiring Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and hands‑on problem‑solving through a variety of projects and disciplines (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering).
  • Prepare students for coursework and exams, helping them achieve their best possible outcomes.
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and innovation.
