A healthcare organization in Dundee is seeking a Radiographer to join a progressive team providing breast screening and symptomatic services. The successful candidate will need a PgCert in mammography and HCPC registration, along with managerial experience. Responsibilities involve supporting the Superintendent Radiographer and managing departmental quality improvements. Travel may be required for mobile breast screening across Tayside and North East Fife. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fully digital breast unit.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to join a progressive, friendly team. We are a combined breast unit providing both breast screening and symptomatic services, whilst also benefiting from close links to the University of Dundee Breast Research team.
We are a fully digital department with 3 static rooms, two mobile screening units and currently two ultrasound rooms. In addition, breast imaging services are provided within the Radiology department at Perth Royal Infirmary, which provides an additional mammography room and ultrasound room.
The successful candidate will hold a PgCert or equivalent in mammography. You must be HCPC registered with significant post-qualification mammography experience.
The current job description is under review, and as well as mammography work, a large portion of the job role will entail managerial work, including supporting the work of the Superintendent Radiographer and taking a lead in departmental quality management and improvement.
You may be required to work on a mobile breast screening unit and should therefore be able to travel to various locations throughout Tayside and North East Fife.
