About the Role

As Deputy Principal of Finance and Resources, you will play a crucial role in the collective leadership of the College. Reporting to the Principal and Chief Executive and as a member of the Executive and Senior Leadership Team, you will take an executive lead in all aspects of financial and estates management, and a broader portfolio that fits with your skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee financial and estates management across the College.
  • Create and maintain systems that support managers, ensuring all required controls are in place and accountability for public funds is upheld.
  • Establish and maintain a central data set to enable visualisation of organisational and performance metrics.
  • Be an authentic leader, sharing a passion for inclusivity and an exceptional learner experience.
Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant with experience managing a complex organisation.
  • Experience working with and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
Desired Experience
  • Experience working in a highly complex environment with challenging funding regimes.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of the Further Education sector is an advantage but not essential.
