Overview

Deputy Nursery Manager

  • Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 per year
  • Location: Kingston upon Thames
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

This role is full time working over 4 days. 7:30am - 6pm.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
  • Implement and maintain the EYFS framework across all activities.
  • Support the Nursery Manager in administrative duties and staff management.
  • Monitor and enhance child development and learning outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to discuss the progress and needs of children.
  • Lead and mentor staff, promoting continuous professional development.
  • Manage resources effectively to enhance educational experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Significant experience working with 3-year-olds in an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Clear understanding of safeguarding practices and child protection procedures.
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
