Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Ensure high standards of care and support in a safe environment.
  • Lead and support a team of Team Leaders and Residential Support Workers.
  • Supervise care and give young people the support they need to thrive.

Skills

Experience in Residential Children's home
People management
Understanding Ofsted legislation
Proactive and enthusiastic attitude

Education

Level 3 in residential childcare or equivalent
Level 5 Leadership and management - Residential Childcare (Desirable)
