We are looking for an enthusiastic friendly highly motivated person to join our ever evolving OMFS team. The job involves providing a high standard of quality care to a wide variety of patients, some with complex needs. The department is a well-established service which is consultant lead and provides acute medical, orthodontic, restorative and surgical treatments within the areas.
The role as a Dental Nurse will be to act as a chaperone in clinics supporting the consultant / clinician. You will be expected to use your nursing skills to adapt to working in all areas previously mentioned, and learn new skills and techniques as you progress.

You will be expected to assist in clinic and treatment services. Maintain good communication at all times written, verbal and non verbal.
Responsibilities will include daily running of surgeries, stock control and cross infection control. Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of dealing with hazards and dangerous substances. Help and mentor individuals when needed and work together as a team.
