Customer

Ensure our customer experience is the best it can be and work out ways to improve it where needed.

Continually explore new products/propositions that could satisfy customer demand/improve customer experience for both the Laboratory & Distribution business.

People
  • Deliver regular staff meetings to keep the staff engaged with progress and updates.
  • Prepare monthly business review/update for Senior Management.
  • Lead the onsite management team and the performance of the business against agreed KPI's.
  • Manage recruitment of new team members.
  • Coaching, leading, developing a high performing team in a positive environment.
  • Contribute to the wider management team of Bupa Dental Laboratories, attending regular team meetings & supporting the delivery of the wider Dental Laboratory strategy.
Performance
  • Manage the day to day running of the laboratory, being the point of contact for staff/contractors, and deal with any issues & complaints.
  • Work with established systems to ensure productivity and satisfaction for members of staff streamlining productivity.
  • Maintain focus on P¦L delivery including cost control opportunities around materials & postage costs.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory bodies, and compliance to appropriate Medical Device legislation.
  • Research new areas for business growth, as well as horizon scanning for new technology to support the on-going automation of manufacturing to generate more efficient production in the business.
  • Develop working relationships with key suppliers.
Qualifications
  • Manufacturing experience (preferably in a medical device/healthcare setting).
  • Experienced People Manager.
  • Experience of developing relationships to win new business.
  • Demonstrable ability to build relationships with key suppliers & customers.
  • Experience of introducing automation in manufacturing (desired).
  • Demonstrable ability working with management software platforms.
  • Experience of identifying opportunities in the market and being able to react accordingly.
  • Experience of managing environments heavily dependent on IT infrastructure, software, websites & portals.
