Qualifications

  • Good level of secondary education required.
  • Completion of the CNTW Peer Supporter Educational Programme is necessary.
  • Experience in sharing recovery stories professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Support families and carers during transitional periods.
  • Advocacy for carers in meetings.
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups for sharing experiences.
  • Work 1:1 with carers to offer support.

Skills

Good interpersonal and team-working skills
Ability to share personal story of recovery
Confidence in skills and well-being resilience
Ability to facilitate groups
Ability to plan and prioritize workload
Experience with recovery / person-centred planning tools

Education

Good level of secondary education
Commitment to complete the CNTW Peer Supporter Educational Programme
Completion of Peer Support Specialist Training
Completion of Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) training
