Job Description
ERP Order Management
  • Issue purchase orders and schedule updates based on planner and supplier feedback or ERP output.
  • Monitor open order report to ensure all POs are acknowledged within SLA.
  • Follow up with suppliers for missing acknowledgements or confirmations.
Data Maintenance, Reporting & Audit
  • Update planning data (e.g., lead times, minimum order quantities) under planner guidance.
  • Support audits and clean‑up activities related to supply parameters.
  • Run standard reports to support planner decision‑making.
  • Assist in preparing weekly/monthly supplier performance data.
  • Manage data and files effectively to ensure traceability.
  • Support cross‑functional alignment through clear data sharing and follow‑up.
Supplier Coordination & Communication
  • Download and disseminate exception message reports for order alignment.
  • Update inbound delivery dates in the system based on supplier communication.
  • Be first point of contact for basic supplier queries (e.g., PO copies, invoice references).
  • Send forecast data to suppliers on a regular cadence.
  • Escalate any delays, quantity mismatches, or delivery shortfalls to External Supply Planners.
  • Resolve delivery discrepancies, feeding root cause back to performance stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum GCSE Grades A-C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with inventory or logistics processes.
  • Knowledge of aerospace, automotive or regulated industries.
  • Experience working with suppliers or external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Data‑driven.
