Job summary

A reputable delivery company in Northern Ireland is seeking a Delivery/Warehouse Operative to help maintain warehouse organization, manage deliveries, and perform vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a clean driver’s license and experience in delivery or warehouse work. Flexible working hours are available to suit business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain warehouse organization for customer orders.
• Load and unload packages from vehicles.
• Follow delivery instructions to meet deadlines.
• Record and track completed deliveries.
• Perform basic maintenance on company vehicles.

Job description

Delivery/Warehouse Operative with duties listed below.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up keep of warehouse for customer orders according to in house procedures
• Loading and unloading packages to the vehicle
• Following delivery instructions to ensure deadlines are met
• Recording and tracking when deliveries are complete
• Basic maintenance of company vehicle
• Providing basic delivery data to wider logistics team members

Skills and Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift and transport packages and heavier goods
• Incredible efficiency and ability to meet deadlines
• Confidence in driving van in an array of light and weather conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to accept and log deliveries in and out of the warehouse
• Flexibility within the role (within reason)
• A full and clean drivers licence
• Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse or bathroom background.
