Job description

Are you someone who enjoys hands‑on work, thrives in a varied role, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality installations? Do you love the idea of travelling, solving problems on the spot, and representing a respected industry name out in the field? If so, my client is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Delivery, Installation and Case Build Engineer to join their growing team and make a real impact.

In this exciting position, you’ll take ownership of delivering, installing, and building state‑of‑the‑art refrigerated display cases to a consistently high standard. Your work will span safe loading and transport, onsite assembly, fitting trims and accessories, and resolving any installation challenges with professionalism and initiative. When not on the road, you’ll be based at the Northamptonshire facility assembling and preparing units, contributing to smooth operations and continuous improvement. Confidence interpreting drawings, working with tools, handling equipment, and managing tasks independently will help you excel in this dynamic role.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring practical experience gained in an installation, construction, or engineering environment, combined with a strong problem‑solving mindset and the ability to work both independently and within a team. A full UK driving licence is essential, and a willingness to travel and stay away from home will be key. Desirable qualifications that will strengthen your application include a Category C1 licence, CPC training, CITB site safety credentials, and any background in refrigeration, electrical work, or forklift operation—although full training will be provided where needed.
