Job summary

DPD Group UK is seeking an experienced Customer Services Advisor to strengthen its friendly team. You will assist both internal and external customers regarding parcel collection or delivery, liaising with Drivers, Shift Managers and Operations Managers to identify issues and resolve them.

Daily tasks include answering delivery status queries with POD, investigating missing parcels, resolving disputes, and promoting DPD services to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
• Excellent administration skills and ability to use Microsoft Office programmes.
• Willingness to go the ‘extra mile’ to exceed customer expectations.
• Self-motivation and initiative to effectively problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Answer any queries with relation to a delivery status, and supplying Proof of Delivery (POD)
• Carrying out thorough investigations for missing parcels and resolving delivery disputes
• Promoting company products and services to new and existing customers
